Project Manager

The mission of Ncardia Belgium/Cellistic is to understand human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) and developmental biology and harness this knowledge to invent and advance the technologies that smartly scale hiPSC to benefit human health. Within our Cell Therapy team in Mont-saint-Guibert (Belgium) there is one position immediately available for a Project Manager. 

You will join an international and dedicated group of scientists, project leaders and laboratory technicians. We have expertise in bioprocess development, stem cell biology, cell-based assays, and GMP manufacturing. The Position

As a Project Manager, you will develop and maintain successful collaborations with our customers and manage internal platform development and customer projects, lead project resourcing, and manage project execution. 

You are self-motivated, solution-oriented and energetic with a strong focus on external and internal client relationships. 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Capture project technical needs and translate into business solutions in alignment with all stakeholders;

  • Lead project planning and execution after project acquisition, serving as the main point of contact for clients;

  • Organize multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver results within required timelines;

  • Secure required internal and external resources and obtain buy-in & satisfaction of all project stakeholders;

  • Direct, motivate, and hold project team members accountable to deliver results;

  • Manage project scope, timelines and agreed budget;

  • Prepare project amendments, together with project proposal and business development teams;

  • Highlight operations and business risks, develop mitigation plans, manage risks and troubleshoot issues.


Qualification & Experience

  • Masters or PhD Degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline;

  • 3+ years of working experience as a Project Manager in Life Sciences or related industry;

  • Project Management Certification Preferred (PMP or Prince 2) is a plus;

  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
