AP/AR Accountant

The mission of Cellistic/ Ncardia is to understand human iPSC and developmental biology and harness this knowledge to develop and manufacture iPSC therapeutics that significantly improve patient outcomes. We are convinced that pluripotent stem cell technology is the key to getting better, more efficient treatments to patients faster. To achieve this mission, we are building a world-leading research facility to overcome the complexity and challenges of iPSC lineage specification. We will know we have succeeded when we can reliably and rapidly generate cell products that consistently produce positive outcomes in patients.

Within our Cell Therapy team in Mont-Saint-Guibert (Belgium) there is a position immediately available for an AP/AR Accountant. We are an enthusiastic, skilled, and committed international team in which everyone has the opportunity to make a decisive contribution.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes for all Group’s subsidiaries;

• Manage accounts receivable processes for all Group’s subsidiaries;

• Manage all intercompany and related party transactions and follow-up on settlement;

• Reconcile bank accounts, customer and vendor statements;

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (Belgian and Dutch) and company policies;

• Embrace (continuous) technological improvements and support new software implementations;

• Manage VAT statement;

• Participate to the month-end closing and management reporting;

• Provide support to other members of the finance team as required;

• Facilitate contact with internal departments and external people (Tax Advisers, Auditors,...);

• All tasks related to supplier and client accounting.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;

• Languages: English. French or/and Dutch is a plus;

• Knowledge of accounting and VAT principles for Belgium. For Netherlands is a plus;

• Proven proficiency in utilizing accounting software and ERP systems. Netsuite is a plus;

• Strong focus to detail, accuracy and ability to multi-task;

• Can work both independently and as part of a team;

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
